A COLOURFUL PAST
The Warrington has a colourful past. Once under the ownership of the Church of England, it was rumoured to be an upmarket brothel, and its proximity to Randolph Crescent even inspired the slang term “randy.” In the 19th century, the owners transformed the pub to attract a more affluent clientele, incorporating features from a magnificent old ship – including the fireplace, bar, and staircase, which still stand today.
